The rehabilitation equipment industry has now realized the transformation from a single prosthetic orthosis to a comprehensive rehabilitation assistive device. The service targets of the industry have also expanded from the original disabled soldiers and ordinary disabled to the elderly, the injured and the sick. The product range can basically meet the needs of people with disabilities in work, life, communication and health. At present, my country produces more than 65,000 prostheses, more than 110,000 orthopedic shoes, more than 120,000 orthotics, and more than 3 million wheelchairs each year. A number of internationally popular modern rehabilitation aid products are also promoted and applied in China.
