On August 20, the webinar on "Advanced Neurorehabilitation with rTMS, rPMS and Robotic Training" was hosted online by METTAMEDTECH and the Neurological Institute of Thailand. Syrebo Chief Medical Manager, Davis Wu has also been invited to the webinar to introduce the application of closed-loop rehabilitation theory in hand rehabilitation after stroke.

As Syrebo's Chief Medical Manager, Mr. Wu has engaged in clinical rehabilitation and education for 15 years and obtained Maitland joint mobilization, Mulligan dynamic joint mobilization and PNF(proprioceptive neuromuscular facilitation) technology certification. With his rich experience in rehabilitation, Mr. Wu shared the common hand function rehabilitation difficulties after stroke and how Syrebo solved these difficulties based on the closed-loop rehabilitation theory during the webinar.
Mr. Wu first introduced the closed-loop rehabilitation theory proposed by Hand Rehabilitation Professor Jia Jie. The core of the theory is the comprehensive application of central and peripheral interventions to improve neuroplasticity and remodel brain function, better promoting hand function rehabilitation.

Based on the closed-loop rehabilitation theory, Syrebo innovated Soft Robot Rehabilitation Glove to help patients accelerate the recovery of hand function and improve therapists’ work efficiency. During the meeting, Mr. Wu also demonstrated each training of the rehabilitation system to the audience and its advantages in detail.

Mr. Wu emphasized Syrebo's innovative bilateral mirror training when introducing the functions of the rehabilitation system, which can activate the motion of the mirror neuronal region and stimulate the patient's neuroplasticity through simultaneous visual effects and proprioceptive feedback (feeling and seeing hand). Furthermore, Mr. Wu especially showcased interactive game training in the meeting. He stressed that compared with traditional rehabilitation training, Syrebo's rehabilitation system can significantly improve patients' active participation.

Through Mr. Wu's detailed and vivid introduction, many rehabilitation experts and clinicians attending the webinar had a deeper understanding of closed-loop rehabilitation theory and its application- Syrebo Hand Rehabilitation System. After the webinar, they all highly praised the system's innovation, professionalism and practicality, and they expressed strong interest. In the future, to make more people learn the advanced hand rehabilitation theory and solutions, we will hold more online events to connect with patients and clinicians.
