Indication and contraindication
I. Indications
Suitable for stroke patients (with cerebral hemorrhage or cerebral infarction) who have the following hand dysfunction, used for auxiliary rehabilitation training:
1)Hand motor dysfunction: Difficulty in finger flexion and extension, weak grasping ability, limited joint movement; suitable for improving hand motor flexibility and coordination.
2)Muscle and joint issues: Hand muscle atrophy, abnormal muscle tone (mild to moderate), joint stiffness; suitable for preventing disuse muscle atrophy and joint contracture.
3)Rehabilitation stage adaptation: Covers the acute phase (after stable condition), recovery phase and sequelae phase of stroke. Based on the patient's muscle strength level (priority for grade 1-3), passive, assisted and active training can be carried out to assist hand function recovery.
II. Contraindications
The device is strictly prohibited in the following cases to avoid health risks:
1)Severe limb injury: Unhealed fractures, dislocations, severe trauma of the hand, or unremoved sutures from postoperative wounds.
2)Severe skin problems: Severe skin diseases of the hand (such as eczema, ulcers, infections), large-area burns, or complete loss of skin sensation.
3)Severe underlying diseases: Severe heart disease, hypertensive crisis, coagulation disorders (prone to bleeding), or epileptic seizure period.
4)Others: Severe deformity of hand joints (unable to wear the glove), patients allergic to device materials (such as medical fabrics, rubber, etc.), and stroke patients with unstable condition (such as uncontrolled vital signs in the acute phase).
