"The CPC closed-loop rehabilitation theory, proposed in 2016 (Jia, 2016), involves the assessment and therapy of central rehabilitation methods and peripheral procedures. This innovative rehabilitation model utilizes positive feedback to enhance brain plasticity and rehabilitation efficacy following brain injury in a bidirectional manner. Devices associated with this approach can combine input and output capabilities. Research has shown that the CPC closed-loop rehabilitation is more effective in managing post-stroke dysfunctions, such as motor impairment, compared to single central or peripheral therapy."

Passive mode: In passive mode, the rehabilitation glove actively assists the affected hand in performing flexion and extension movements. Users can customize the duration of flexion and the duration of extension to tailor the training to their specific requirements.

Assistance Mode: The C15's passive mode includes assistance mode. By activating the intent detection feature in settings, it can detect a patient's muscle movements and intentions, aiding in full joint training.

Mirror mode: In mirror mode, simultaneous symmetrical movements by muscle groups on each side of the brain stimulate neural networks that mimic those in both brain hemispheres.

Game mode: In the "game mode" feature on the device, a variety of tools are available to benefit both patients and therapists. Therapists can use an app to remotely configure customized training regimens for patients via Bluetooth, facilitating flexible and swift training instructions. This app also includes smart user management for individual patients, encompassing their personal details, condition status, and training logs. This feature allows for an efficient transition between sessions with different patients.

Hand Functional Training: Passive Mobilization: Passive Mobilization includes multiple hand gestures for passive training. The gestures can fulfil various finger movements. Patients or therapists can easily edit a training sequence with these gestures and customize every step with just a few taps.

Bilateral Mirror Training: There is also a Bilateral Mirror Training, which has all the gestures in Passive Mobilization, and can also support a training sequence.

Task-oriented Training: Task-oriented training consists of passive training with specific objects and active upper limb movement. Patients can actively participate in controlled exercise training and repeated reinforcement. It also contains 4 stages(low, medium, high, and from low to high). Patients and therapists can decide which stage to choose during the training according to the patient's condition.

Hand Games: Hand Games consist of several different scenarios. By moving the fingers actively when wearing data gloves, patients can complete different objectives in these scenarios, to practise different hand movements, cognitive levels and ADL. In the meantime, the patient's interest in participating will be enhanced.

How To Use

Indications and Contraindications

This Robotic Hand Rehabilitation Device is suitable for every hand dysfunction caused by diseases or injuries, such as stroke, traumatic brain injury, spinal cord injury, Parkinson's disease, hand injury, lymphedema, Alzheimer's disease, cerebral palsy in children, etc. Therefore, its application is distributed in the Rehabilitation, Neurology, geriatrics, pediatrics, and Orthopedics departments in the hospital.

But there are also situations that patients should consider not using our product:

1) Patients with severe blood circulation disorders;

2) Patients with comminuted fracture and bone cancer;

3) Patients with burns, bleeding, suppuration and uncontrollable infectious diseases;

4) Severe hand deformation or severe spasm;

5) Patients with obvious hand trauma or allergies to spandex and nylon.
